Sweeper and washer bodies take up more chassis length than a simple tank, and they run longer duty cycles per charge than most other sanitation upfits. The 282kWh electric truck chassis is Xingchen's answer to both problems: the largest battery in the 18-ton range, mounted on the longest wheelbase.

500mm more usable length. At 5,000mm, this long-range electric sweeper chassis gives body-builders roughly 500mm more usable length than the 4,500mm chassis used elsewhere in the range enough extra room for a full sweeper collection hopper, clean-water tank, and washing module without crowding the rear overhang. The 282kWh CATL battery pack mounts in a bottom-plus-rear configuration rather than bottom-only on this 282kWh electric truck chassis, which is what makes the higher capacity possible without pushing curb weight past what the frame and axles can comfortably carry.

Same drivetrain, longer frame. As an extended-range sanitation chassis, the car shares the same drive architecture as its shorter siblings: a single electric drive axle at up to 265 kW peak power, 295/80R22.5 18PR tires, and an 8-leaf front / 10+8-leaf rear spring setup carrying a 6.5-tonne front / 11.5-tonne rear axle split. The 2,320mm single-row flat-roof cab and 250×80×(7+4)mm double-layer frame carry over unchanged, so body-builders already tooled for the shorter chassis don't need to re-engineer mounting brackets for this 5000mm wheelbase electric chassis from scratch only the extended frame section between the cab and rear axle differs.

Same interfaces as the rest of the range. This 5000mm wheelbase electric chassis keeps the same body-builder interface set as the rest of the range: PTO output to 700 N·m at up to 1,800 rpm, hydraulic pump pressure at 21 MPa (25 MPa peak) with 100 ml/r displacement, and a 200A-fused 120kW@540V high-voltage tap for electrically driven sweeper or wash-pump systems. Water takeoff runs through a rear-axle-mounted 25mm port, and air takeoff draws from a dedicated 10L, 10 bar auxiliary reservoir isolated from the parking brake circuit.

Range built for longer routes. Because sweeper and washer routes tend to run longer per charge than compaction or dust-suppression cycles, this high-capacity electric truck platform is built around single-gun DC fast charging with liquid-cooled thermal management, so a full recharge fits into a standard overnight or midday charging window without degrading battery life over repeated cycles. Protection ratings hold at IP68 for the vehicle and IP69K for the battery, standard across the whole Xingchen range.
