Tank semi-trailers are semi-trailers with a tank structure for cargo loading, mainly used for transporting liquids, bulk materials, and bulk cement. Their tanks can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel, or steel-lined plastic, and are equipped with internal anti-surge baffles and pass high-pressure airtightness testing. The compartmentalized design allows for the simultaneous loading of different types of chemicals or food products.

The tank semi-trailer features a variable cross-section tank design, with a small-diameter front tank and a large-diameter rear tank secured by a saddle. A transition tank section is located in the middle. The bottom support system includes a towing seat and a rear saddle, while a shoulder beam running the entire length of the tank is installed at the top. Annular reinforcing rings are installed on the inner walls to enhance overall rigidity.

The steel-lined plastic tank body is made of Q235B steel plate combined with linear low-density polyethylene, with an inner lining thickness of 16mm, offering superior corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel. Elliptical, square, and other tank shapes are available to suit various transportation needs, and the spacing of the wave-damping baffles has been mechanically optimized.
